The watch is waterproof and can be used everywhere – incuding in the shower!

If no relative answers, the call is connected to Sensorem's alarm center, which is open 24/7! The user talks to the alarm center from the watch's speakerphone, and the alarm center connects the call to 112 if the situation is urgent.
The user's relatives downloads The Sensorem app in the App Store or Google Play Store. From the app, relatives can follow the user's GPS position in real time and they receive an alarm notification if the user triggers the alarm.
Features developed to increase security and freedom for the user
Physical alarm button
If the watch's physical alarm button is pressed for three seconds, the senior's relatives are called in a predefined order and SMS + push notifications are sent out to relatives.

Built-in speakerphone with two-way communication
The watch has a built-in SIM card and calls relatives automatically in the event of an alarm with two-way communication (users talk directly to relatives through the watch's speakerphone). Relatives can also call the watch directly even when there is no emergency situation and the user can make regular outgoing calls via the watch's phone book.
Automatic fall alarm
If a fall occurs, the watch automatically registers this and starts the alarm process. A minute or so after a fall is registered, relatives are automatically called using the watch's speakerphone and they receive an SMS + push notification that a fall has occurred.
GPS-positioning and geofencing
Relatives can see the user's current and historical position on a map through the Sensorem app. Relatives can mark out a safe area in the Sensorem app, and if the user leaves the safe area, an alarm notification is sent to relatives. This can be particularly important in dementia.
Automatic reply
In the Sensorem app, relatives can set the watch to answer automatically when someone calls it.
Inactivity alarm
Relatives are warned with an alarm notification and SMS if the watch has been still during selected time periods. This function ensures that relatives are warned if something serious has occurred, but the user has not had the opportunity to press the alarm button.
Medication reminder
Medicine reminder can be set in the Sensorem app so that the security watch reminds the user with both text and voice when it is time to take medicine.
Pedometer
The personal alarm has a built-in pedometer. The number of steps is displayed in the Sensorem app and there is also a history showing whether the number of steps deviates from normal.
SMS to relatives + alarm notifications in the Sensorem app
Relatives are warned in the Sensorem app if, for example, the battery level is too low. If the user raises the alarm, relatives receive a warning notice + SMS.
Waterproof
The senior watch is IP67 classified, i.e. the user can wash hands and shower with it but don't take it swimming.
Easy to charge
The watch's battery life is about five days and can be charged in about two hours with the included magnetic charger. The watch warns both the user and relatives (through the app) if the battery level is low.
This is how easy it is to get started with the personal alarm for the elderly once it has been delivered
1. The personal alarm is delivered in a nice box that contains the watch, charging cable, adapter and two user manuals (one for the user and one for a relative).
2. The watch is delivered fully installed and ready to use immediately. Relatives are entered via the Sensorem app or by contacting Sensorem.
3. To start the watch, hold down the alarm button until the Sensorem logo appears in the display.
4. To charge the senior watch, connect the magnetic charger to the back of the watch.
5. The manuals that come with the watch are also sent by e-mail to the customer and to the relatives who are added through the Sensorem app.
6. Relatives receive welcome information with instructions to get started by e-mail.
