Relatives can use the Sensorem app to see the user's position in real time on a map. Relatives can mark out a safe area in the Sensorem app, and if the user leaves the safe area, an alarm notification is sent to relatives. This can be particularly important in dementia.

Acknowledgment of received alarm
If the user triggers the alarm, the alarm is answered either by the alarm receiver or by Sensorem's alarm center. Confirmation is sent out by SMS to all alarm recipients regarding who received the alarm.

The personal alarm has a customized switchboard that detects if an answering machine answers and then connects the call to the next alarm recipient. It is possible to time the switching service so that the alarm goes to specific alarm receivers at certain times.
This is how the man down alarm works, specially designed for solo work
The user or relative activates the inactivity alarm in the Sensorem app.
In the Sensorem app, the sensitivity of the inactivity alarm can be set, i.e. how long the clock is allowed to be still before an alarm is sent to relatives.
If the clock has been stationary for longer than the set time, an alarm is sent to relatives as this may indicate that the user has fallen and been lying down but did not have the opportunity to press the alarm button.
To avoid false alarms, the service detects whether the watch is charging and in such a case does not send out an inactivity alarm to relatives.
The default is that inactivity alarms are not sent out at night when the clock is normally silent then due to that the user is sleeping but the inactivity alarm can easily be activated also for night time.

Easy to add alarm receivers
You simply choose which ones are added as alarm receivers and the order in which they should be called. The only thing needed to add an alarm receiver is its phone number and email address, and up to eight alarm receivers can be added. Alarm receiver can be anyone, for example own alarm center, site manager, officer on duty or employees in the same department.
Customized alarm chain

The switchboard is customized and detects if an answering machine answers and then forwards the call to the next alarm recipient. The alarm chain can be adapted as needed so that the alarm goes directly to an external alarm center, for example, or that the alarm goes to all alarm receivers at the same time, where the person who answers first becomes the one who receives the alarm.
The alarm center answers alarms
If no alarm receiver answers, the call is connected to Sensorem's alarm center, which is always open around the clock! The user talks to the alarm center from the watch's speakerphone and the call is forwarded to SOS Alarm if the situation is urgent. SOS Alarm can then send help such as the police or an ambulance. If there is also a need for guard calls for non-emergency situations, Sensorem has a partnership with another alarm center that offers this.
App for alarm receivers
The user's alarm receiver downloads the Sensorem app in the App Store or Google Play Store. From the app, alarm receivers can follow the user's GPS position in real time and receive an alarm notification if the user triggers the alarm.
