The personal alarm communicates via the mobile network and works everywhere in the EU, Norway, Switzerland and Great Britain (in more countries as well such as Australia, Israel and the USA if you contact Sensorem before departure). The watch is waterproof and can be used everywhere – incuding in the shower! If the physical alarm button is pressed for three seconds, relatives are called in a predefined order and text messages + push notifications are sent out to relatives.

Alarm center
If no relative answers, the call is connected to Sensorem's alarm center, which is open 24/7! The user talks to the alarm center from the watch's speakerphone, and the alarm center connects the call to SOS Alarm if the situation is urgent.
App for relatives
The user's relatives downloads The Sensorem app in the App Store or Google Play Store. From the app, relatives can follow the user's GPS position in real time and they receive an alarm notification if the user triggers the alarm.

Built-in speakerphone with two-way communication
The watch has a built-in SIM card and calls relatives automatically in the event of an alarm with two-way communication (users talk directly to relatives through the watch's speakerphone). Relatives can also call the bell directly even when it is not an alarm situation.
Inactivity alarm
Relatives are warned with an alarm notification and SMS if the watch has been still during selected time periods. This function ensures that relatives are warned if something serious has occurred, but the user has not had the opportunity to press the alarm button.
GPS-positioning and geofencing
Relatives can use the Sensorem app to see the user's position in real time on a map. Relatives can mark out a safe area in the Sensorem app, and if the user leaves the safe area, an alarm notification is sent to relatives. This can be particularly important in dementia.
SMS to relatives + alarm notifications in the Sensorem app
Relatives are warned in the Sensorem app if, for example, the battery level is too low. If the user raises the alarm, relatives receive a warning notice + SMS.
Easy to charge
The watch's battery life is about five days and can be charged in about two hours with the included magnetic charger. The watch warns both the user and relatives (through the app) if the battery level is low.

The senior watch is IP67 classified, i.e. the user can wash hands and shower with it.

The personal alarm has a customized telephone switchboard that detects whether an answering machine answers and then connects the call to the next relative. It is possible to time the switching service so that the alarm goes to specific alarm receivers at certain times.

1. The personal alarm is delivered in a nice box that contains the watch, charging cable, adapter and two user manuals (one for the user and one for a relative).
2. The watch is delivered fully installed and ready to use immediately. Relatives are entered via the Sensorem app or by contacting Sensorem.
3. To start the watch, hold down the alarm button until the Sensorem logo appears in the display.
4. To charge the senior watch, connect the magnetic charger to the back of the watch.
5. The manuals that come with the watch are also sent by e-mail to the customer and to the relatives who are added through the Sensorem app.
6. Relatives receive welcome information with instructions to get started by e-mail.
