Sensorem's personal alarm has been developed to provide safety across a wide range of organisations and situations. It is currently used in:

• Health and social care, where staff work closely with service users and often alone in their homes.
• Social services and public authorities, during meetings and home visits that may involve increased risk.
• Service roles and receptions, where staff may face threatening or challenging situations.
• Schools and pupil welfare services, during conversations and work in vulnerable environments.

When the user raises an alarm, it goes first (phone call + text message + push notification) to the people set up as alarm recipients. If the alarm is answered, the user speaks directly with the alarm recipient through the watch's built-in two-way speakerphone. The alarm call can be sent out either in sequence, so that alarm recipient #1 is called first and it then moves on in order to alarm recipient #2 and so on, or it can call everyone, in which case whoever answers first takes the alarm call. Up to 20 alarm recipients can be added. If none of the alarm recipients answers, the alarm call is passed on to Sensorem's alarm centre, which speaks with the user.

No, the watch is very discreet and looks like any other smartwatch - nothing suggests that it contains an alarm!
